About Alexis’Kiko
Alexis’Kiko is an American singer, songwriter, and powerhouse storyteller whose voice rises from the heart of the South and carries the weight, beauty, and transformation of a woman reborn. Raised by her grandmother Queenie, Alexis’Kiko grew up in a home filled with soul, struggle, faith, and the kind of love that shapes destinies. From the moment she received her first cassette player one Christmas, she began recording herself singing classics like “I’m Not Your Superwoman”and “Solid As a Rock,” unaware that those early recordings were the beginning of a future artistic force.Fun Fact,If we’re being honest — Alexis’Kiko’s first celebrity crush was 50 Cent, ever since he stepped out that black Hummer. She laughs about it today, but it’s one of the earliest signs she was drawn to confidence, power, and presence — the same qualities she now carries in her own artistry.”Music wasn’t just entertainment for Alexis’Kiko — it was her lifeline. As a child, she sang in every room of the house, danced like she was already on stage, and entered talent shows with a hunger far beyond her years. Even then, her voice carried emotion too deep for her age — a gift that would one day become her signature. But her greatest shaping came through grief. In 2016, Alexis’Kiko’s world shattered when her grandmother Queenie — her protector, teacher, best friend, and the purest form of love she had ever known — passed away from cancer. The loss forced her into a painful rebirth. The girl she had been died with her grandmother, and in her place stood a woman who had to learn herself all over again.“I realized I would never be who I used to be,” she says. “I had to meet the new version of me — the woman shaped by grief, strength, and survival.”Then, in 2024, life delivered another blow: the passing of her sister, Maleka.Grief returned — this time with unfinished conversations and unsaid “I love you’s.” Their bond, strained by outside influence, left Alexis’Kiko with a heartbreak deeper than words. “She didn’t get to hear me say I loved her. And I didn’t get to hear it back.”Instead of breaking, Alexis’Kiko transformed. And that transformation became her purpose.Today, her music blends R&B, soul, and soft rap into a cinematic sound rooted in truth. Her lyrics cut deep with honesty; her voice carries both power and vulnerability; her storytelling creates safe spaces for healing, especially for those surviving grief, heartbreak, betrayal, and rebirth.
